Symbiotic relationships are amazing; when one side prospers, so does the other. Like the clownfish and the sea anemone. Or like Thomas Cook, Norwegian and Amadeus. Norwegian’s remarkable expansion and growth, and its partnership with Amadeus, has fueled our own growth.

Norwegian is a low-cost, long haul carrier with a forward-looking growth strategy. Its international expansion has stimulated customer demand – they’ve opened up many new routes including long haul destinations for cost-conscious travelers. Norwegian’s success has led to increased capacity which has offered us new opportunities for growth and allowed us to expand our portfolio. We can offer our existing customers appealing new destinations at lower fares, and also help us attract new traffic. 

Low cost carriers’ (LCCs) content is very important for our business and we count on the Amadeus Travel Platform to access quickly and easily the most relevant offers to create targeted travel packages. We’ve been working with Amadeus for many years now and we continue relying on its automated solutions to integrate all this extra content while simplifying and accelerating our operations. 

We are delighted that over the last three years, we’ve seen more than 100% increase in Norwegian’s bookings which perfectly mirrors Norwegian’s growth in Amadeus. A real symbiotic relationship!
