That’s why we are expanding the scope of our IT contract with Amadeus. We will now be the first Middle East airline to use Amadeus’ complete Airline IT portfolio for full service carriers, as well as gaining access to four key new features, including revenue management, revenue accounting, mobile web, and loyalty management. This technology will boost our operational efficiency and save us money, both essential elements to remain competitive.
As the leading private full service carrier in Egypt, Nile Air needs to be at the top-of-mind for passengers and travel agents at the time of booking. With the Amadeus Airline IT portfolio, we are able to not only improve our efficiency, but also offer a differentiated experience to all of our guests whether they are travelling for business or leisure.
Today, Nile Air offers scheduled international flights from Cairo and Alexandria to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, Sudan, and Turkey, in addition to domestic flights to Sharm El-Sheikh and Hurghada. We operate the youngest fleet of modern aircraft in Egypt, and offer a full service flight experience, including business class, to our guests. We also pride ourselves on having the highest on-time performance in Egypt in 2015 and 2016, at over 90% – so it only makes sense that the technology we use is also top of the line.
