Luxair implements Amadeus revenue management technology

We’ve been working closely with Amadeus since 2014 to optimise our business processes with a view towards generating new revenue streams. Thus far, we’ve experienced great success with the Amadeus Altéa Suite – specifically the Inventory and Departure Control Solutions.

Now, we want to take our partnership and business optimisation goals even further by implementing the Amadeus Altéa Segment Revenue Management solution. This cutting-edge yield management technology will help us maximise revenue by combining demand forecasting techniques with real-time data exchange. To put it more simply, we’ll be able to streamline our revenue management processes and optimize flights with a positive impact on our bottom line.

Furthermore, many functions are fully automated in Altéa Revenue Management, like the calculation of customer willingness-to-pay or the daily calculation of optimal inventory controls, which we expect to ensure significant productivity gains.

By implementing this solution,Luxair will also join more than 15 airlines which already benefit from Amadeus’ integrated revenue management and passenger service systems. This will put us in a position to exchange best market practices, opening the door to exciting new developments that will allow us to adapt to the quickly evolving business environment.
