Finnair saw that one of the most stressful parts of flying is figuring out how to get to and from the airport. We’ve taken a giant step forward in alleviating this stress for our passengers by integrating Blacklane’s global professional driver service as our preferred airport transfer provider, through the Amadeus Transfers solution.
When booking a flight with Finnair, travellers will see Blacklane’s all-inclusive, guaranteed fares for four rides: transfers to and from departure and arrival airports. All of this information, which is available on a widget that is part of Amadeus Transfers, allows them to book dual round-trips between airports and their origin and destination locations, including homes, hotels and offices, in a single booking. Blacklane instantly confirms booked rides and sends travellers their transfer details. Rides will be available for cities that Finnair serves directly and through airline partners.
Integrating the ability for passengers to book transfers directly in the Finnair website’s booking flow creates a true door-to-door experience. Most importantly, it provides travellers with peace of mind. For business travellers, this means adhering to strict duty of care requirements by employing only commercially licensed and insured drivers.
In addition to these benefits, travellers get tailored airport services, such as driver meet-and-greet and one hour of driver waiting time for all airport pickups. Blacklane also tracks flights and automatically adjusts pickup times according to new arrival times.
