We’re creating a more connected travel industry, underpinned by sustainability and long-term investor relations.
Machine learning may sound like it belongs in the distant future or in science-fiction films, but we’re already seeing how it could be applied to our own technology and the impact it could have on the travel industry. It is a form of artificial intelligence allowing computers to learn from examples rather than having to follow step-by-step instructions. In fact, there is already machine learning integrated into everyday technologies, such as automatic tagging of your photos with image recognition.
Travel is a very personal experience, and technologies such as machine learning and artificial intelligence are going to make travel a much more immersive, more personal and a much richer experience for everybody.
To find out more about what AI and other technology trends mean for the travel industry, we interviewed two of our technology experts: Rashesh Jethi, Head of Research & Development at Amadeus Americas and Wolfgang Krips, Executive Vice President, Global Operations.
