Amanda is quickly becoming one of our customer service team’s most well-known agents. She also happens to be a chatbot

Here’s a quick look at what she’s achieved since she joined Amadeus in November 2017.

  • 81 – number of countries where Amanda is available and already chatting up a storm
  • 3 – amount of languages she currently speaks. They are English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese 
  • 1 – number of languages she is currently learning: French. Next step is to learn German and Italian.
  • 7,000 – average monthly active users in 2019
  • 20,000 – amount of chat sessions per month in 2019
  • 24/7 – her favorite time to help you out. Look for her at the bottom right hand side of your screen!

Despite her great professionalism, people want to get to know her even more personally! So much so, that last May 5% of all interactions with her were questions such as “How old are you?” or “Do you have a boyfriend?”. She’s smart enough, and well trained, to stay on the topic at hand – helping our travel agencies!

Amanda is looking forward to reaching more Amadeus customers around the world soon. She’s now learning new languages, and she will soon be integrated in the Amadeus Service Hub  (our customer service portal) and other Amadeus solutions. 

With the new Live Travel Space,  our mission is to be more open, dynamic and connected, so we wanted to make the whole process of getting those answers easier for customers.
