I am pleased to be writing to you from the Amadeus Corporate Travel Network, our global conference where top corporations and selected partners join us to discuss the latest developments in the Corporate IT space. During the event, 120 customers, partners and Amadeus delegates participate in the talks and workshops at the Amadeus Executive Briefing Centre in Sophia Antipolis, Nice, as well as the networking events arranged in Cannes.

This year the CTN has been designed to focus on “Connected business. Personalised travel”, as we believe that our industry is being driven by increasing complexity, change and innovation. In a world where technology enables the 24/7 connected traveller with an instant flow of communication, business becomes naturally more connected and the travel experience more personal than ever before.

This year, one of the highlights will be the participation of i:FAO in our Conference opening session, to discuss some of the most relevant aspects with regards to Amadeus’ recent acquisition. We are very excited about this development and the impact its market-leading technology will have on our portfolio and service offering. Other highlights include a presentation from our guest speaker Daniel Sieberg, author of the “Digital Diet” and Google’s Head of Media Outreach, on how we can effectively manage technology in a connected world. There will also be an industry panel discussing the connected travel ecosystem, including participants from EasyJet, Maersk and FCm Travel Solutions.

The event will involve panels as well as hands-on technology showcases, during which we will be presenting some of the newest developments and strategy of both Amadeus and our partners in Corporate Travel IT.

One of our key showcases will feature our ready-to-market solution Amadeus Corporate Travel & Expense, a streamlined booking and expense solution which enables our customers to manage their entire trip lifecycle in one integrated product. At Amadeus we are committed to the end-to-end strategy and we will also be discussing other products under development to provide the best user experience for our customers in this field.

I look forward to discussing our vision for Corporate Travel IT, our leading solutions, industry trends, and much more with our customers and partners throughout the rest of the event!
